the cars that came out for the zipzaps would probably be the only ones comming out for the xmods...they already have relation with those car manufatures so they probably would stick with them
rx7
350z
camero
audi tt
cant name them all but around there..... i wonder if rs are planning to haev only import cars?

I hope they come out with the Initial D set, just like the Zip Zaps. That would be so cool, and if they come out with an "NX" motor like the Zip Zaps.

S14 = Silvia or 240SX, and since I live in Southern California I'll be getting the 240SX.
Difference is mainly the motor, mine will have a KA24DE as opposed to the SR20DET.
P.S. If anyone likes BMW's, I just got back from the mechanic and he had a grey-market E23 745i, it was nice. Plus, one of his friends has an E30 M3 with Hartge wheels, an Evo front lip, and an E34 M5 motor with cams. However, he hasnt driven the car in a long time and the exterior is in very bad shape.

The Ka24 is a decent engine but can't handle the boost that SR20 can obviously, making the SR20DET pretty much godly in the world of 4 bangers. Usually when people refer to the S14 they refer to the JDM silvia. If you're getting a two-forty then just call it a two-forty. I know a guy who has a sweet 240SX with a pretty much complete conversion to a silvia, including the SR20DET. He puts down around 385hp and runs 11secs. I haven't seen his slip but that is what I have heard, he lives in Texas and only comes up for car shows. What I'd like to get my hands on is a one-eighty (S13) with a SR20DET blacktop..one can dream right?
http://www.wetdreamz.net/ go to members rides and he is labeled as 240.
And the guy who is called SR20DETT..You have to drop a T. The T designates "turbo" and even the twin turbo engines like the VG30DET (300ZX twin turbo V6) and RB26DET (Skyline TT Inline 6) don't get an extra T.
Just a little FYI for anybody who cares, the number in Nissan engine names is the displacement. (SR20 is a 2.0 liter engine, KA24 is a 2.4L engine).

Not around here, and I'm guessing not in JDMDrifter's location either. Those codes refer to the chassis so they're technically correct anyway.
Also, it takes a great lack of common sense to assume someone's talking about a Silvia when they're talking about buying an S14 in the US.
I myself would like to see the S13 come out. Great shape, and different enough from what's currently in xmod production to appeal to new people.

I knew that he was talking about the 240, not the Silvia, they obviously don't exist in the US and I had a pretty good idea that he was from here. Down in Arizona everyone calls the 240 the 240 and whenever you start saying S14 or S15 people jump. I have an ae102 and I don't call it an ae102..its chasis code, very unspecific. I associate SR20DET with a S14 and S15. People started getting big on calling their cars by chasis codes since Initial D. But enough argument because it is getting kind of silly.
