Ok, couple of big problems. 1, I can't belive i have a problem. 2, im bad at soldering. 3, 2 controllers are broken because of me ripping out the crystals.
I tryed to "swap" the crystals but it didn't work out to well. I first found out that it didn't work at all so I had to put them back in the original controllers. Since I didn't have soldering iron at the time I ordered one off of Ebay. I got it today and I think I fryed on of the cyrstals internals. I tryed soldering it back but I think I had too big of a gauge wire to do it correctly. Yet I lost one of the crystals and I do have one of the controllers that my initial project was going to be on.
So to the point. Is there any way I can get this crystal back ON its original controller without frying it like I think I did with the other one?
I really want this project that im doing to fold out so I can show you guys but right now im stuck-in-a-rutt.
...make sure that u desolder very well ..then put the crystal in the holes...now solder the 2 conections in place...i have done this before and its not really that hard !...if i can do it you can 2 !...
