its posible but u have to go threw a whole battery pack in a burnout to heat the tires, then if you drift and get the car tilted it scrapes the sidewall, which makes smoke. i've dun it a few times.

never had smoke, but I have had my mod leave black marks on my desk when doing stupid feats of power, like pulling contests.

For smoke, you would need obscene amounts of power since the xmod does not have a transmission. To get that power you would need some badass motor and the likely fet upgrade / aux battery pack needed to power the motor. That and you would need soft enough tires to get them to burn like that. More friction = more heat

HAAHAAAHAAAAAHAHAA, My 1/24th scale driver was complaining of this very thing just last night. I told him that he is under contract with us and our tire sponsor is Firestone and if he didn't like it he could take a hike. Lil' B@$tard thinks he can't be replaced. I'll change the seat and higher a 1/28th scale driver I don't care.

are you sure u werent just burning out the motor?? lol im pretty sure xmods cant do it, but if you claim to have done this... i suggest you get some sort of video or pictures of this happening, because as it stands, barely n e on in here believes u.. sorry .. also, if you were to have smoke it would have to have been outside or something because doing that on a smooth surface liek tile or something wouldnt produce that effect.. because i have ran my nitro r/c car in the street and when it loses control u see a little ammount of smoke fromt he tires.. but in my garage (smooth cement) i see no smoke ( not even doing donuts). so please get some visual evidence so that we can believe
