I was wondering, for masking can you use regular masking tape or does it have to do hobby tape?

Well, I guess it doesn't hurt to get hobby tape. But I use 3M masking tape which is pretty good.

Well I used some cheap brand of masking tape and it works just fine...

i used this one painters tape that is called "kleen mask" it is a little thiner than regular masking tape.
