The Bit Ghar-g run in trick does require the gears in the car.
This is not to burn-in your motor, but to wear in your "clean" gearing so they have less rolling resistance. This gives you a very slight increase in speed, but the more important part is the lower noise level the car runs at. Most of the noise though seems to be from the differential, and the run-in trick does not seem to work well with it. Plus my differntial is kinda screwed right now, one wheel consistantly gets more power than the other, hopefully RS gets replacement parts soon, so I can get a few of these since this last one only lasted about 12 hours.
I also need a:
new passenger mirror, I broke it off in a freak collision with a steel cabinet
another 1.5 tie rod, bent mine a bit beyond repair, same collision
New lugs, just cause I'm too lazy to go to mr. metric to buy some.
New hard treads, cause I wear em out like mad
Kinda shows how hard I run these things......the cabinet incident was where I lost grip and sideswiped the cabinet going full-bore. Since then, my car veers to the right constantly, and changing the tie rod fixed it, but now I run more camber than I like...oh well can't have it all when your broke

I use cotton swabs and baby wipes... because the swabs can reach where my fingers cannot reach. (if you are in a rush) but I use the baby wipes when I am finished for the day. I always race my friend outside. works for me

Wiping down the body, rims, tires, and any other flat smooth surface with a dryer sheet will reduce the ammount of dust and dirt that sticks to your car. (Anti static)
If you run on carpet, vacumb just before you play, that will help reduce the ammount of dust and dirt in the carpet, and also help reduce what sticks to your car.
Use a tiny brush like you would find in a beard trimmer, or in the Zip Zaps tool kit, to clean the hard to reach places. Q-Tips work OK, but they could snag and leave fibers in the berrings.
When you clean your car body, use a mild all surface cleaner and a soft cloth. Do not use paper towel or tissues. Paper products are course and will scratch your body, especially if you have a custom paint job.
Use Extra Fine Powder Graphite on your axels, or any parts you want to lube up. If you use anything that is liquid based it will attract dirt and dust.
