New modder needs your advice

Hello everyone, I'm new to the XMODS scene and was hoping for some advice. I bought the skyline and wanted to make it pure speed, I plan on buying the Acura to make for good handling. Where would be a good place to start modding if I just want speed? Should I start with the 6 cell mod? If so what should I do next, any advice is greatly appreciated!

Is the stage 2 motor that noticable in speed? I keep hearing about brushless motors too and was considering buying one but need to research more about them. (I know almost nothing about rc cars so this is all new)

Yes, stage 2 motors make a BIG difference. However they very little torque, they makeup for that at top-speed. This is one of the best upgrades to gain speed.

Well, to get the motor you have to buy the Crest Spin Brush. I got mine for a few dollars at Target.
