Very nice emaxx Bad Co. I have a traxxas nitro rustler. I agree that you haven't seen fun until you've driven a traxxas. It won't be long now until you dive deeper into the realm of NITRO! Nitro is the coolest! The newer 2.5 Nitro Rustlers run 50mph out of the box. They're crazy fast. Here's a killer site with tons of RC bashing. Check it out! These guys are insane! hehe

What I will do with my Xmods once I get tired of them...
Howdy,
You made a good choice there man. Traxxas makes some of the best Monsters on the market right now. I know I have three of their trucks. Two Stampedes and a T-Maxx. Have had one of the Stamps for like 5 years and have never broke a suspension part and I use to race every weekend with the truck. They really are great trucks. Here is a pic of my trucks with my Skyline. Left to right: Stampede2, T-Maxx, Stampede1.

Runtime right now on brand new 2400mah batteries is about 12-15 minutes using a peak charger. I should be able to get 25 they say with the 3300mah. To change gears on it, there is a little toggle at your thumb on the controller...you let off the gas (no clutch), and flip it with your thumb, then nail it again.
I'm sure I'll dive into these full bore too and be constantly upgrading and maybe get a nitro later. Heck, I'm already looking at a full aluminum chassis.
Nice trucks Easymoney. I'm thinking about getting the Hummer body too. I've seen some tight bodies I want to slap on this thing.

Nice, you got an E-maxx. I wanted that one, too expensive though I got a Traxxas Rustler electric instead 2 weeks ago(I ordered it from HobbyTron.com cause they are always cheaper and they have cupons each month). This is my first large scale RC. Whew it is fun! I'm only running a 6 cell. Here's some pics of it with my supra:
Oh yea, I forgot to post a wheelie vid

Hmm... anybody know what other bodies fit on Rustlers?

Free...I joined to a membership for $15, get free shipping for a year for anything over $100, and I know I will be ordering hop ups etc., so I will get my use out of it.

Rustler bodies
Any 1/10 or 1/12 scale body will fit on it, they come unpainted and you have to cut the wheel wells out yourself and drill the body-post holes. You may also need to cut some of the bumped and skirting off of it because of the low gorund clearance. You can use 1/8 scale bodies (E-maxx) as well, but you'll be trimming even more off the skirting and bumpers plus you'll have to extend the body posts a bit too. I would just stick with the 1/10 or 1/12 scale bodies. Here is a good place to start:

Nitro is always fun
I have a nitro TC3 (never been to crazy about trucks) and it HAULS. Probably goes about 35 with the pitiful stock engine and single-speed transmission. And it gives drifting a whole new meaning, especially with cheap rubber tires on.

trucks!
I'm just partial to trucks because I like the insane jumps I can take and the rocks, sticks, mud, snow etc...that I can run over with the higher-than-buggy ground clearance. But really the Rustler is just a buggy---so he doesn't know the true joys of truckin' yet... tip: If you wanna be a BMF go grab you a DuraTraxx 8T ESC (&70), a Diamond Speed Gem Kryptonite 9T motor ($25) and a 8.4V Batt pack ($20).....Stock, those trucks do about 20-25mph...but with this stuff you can hit close to 50mph...heh heh heh heh heh heh heh......oh...forgot you must get a clip on heat sink for the motor too ($8) and keep a pile of charged up battery packs on hand...

Right now I'm looking basics...
Aluminum skid plates, bumpers, servo cage, motor heat sinks, maybe big bore shocks, 7 cell battery packs.
Any suggestions?
