Question rattlers

My bit has annoying gear noise.

When it runs the gears rattle. I tried flipping the gear the other way, putting it deeper into the axle on the motor, used white 7t pinions and it still makes noise. I don't dare to use lube, I don't know which kinds attract dust.

So will anyone help out and contribute to a list of usable lubricant
types? I'll start with:

1. powdered graphite.

It's dry and doesn't attract dust, right?

I bet

u change the gears it still rattle u buy new gears it gets better but still rattle liek crazy impossible to sneak up santa with yoh bit.
but i figured if u push the metal piece on the motor back out a lil so the motor stick outwards a lil and doesnt move at all mite help a lil nto alot but i might be able to sneak up an old death santa.

I agree, I would just buy some new gears. The gears probably chipped or something.

Does It make your car slow with the rattling sound or is it just the sound?

I prefer to use the bicycle lubricants that set up dry. My favorite is made by Finish Line. Long lasting, safe for plastics, and fairly cheap. My cars run quieter and faster with this than with everything else I've tried. As far as I'm concerned, powdered graphite is good for only one thing: lock cylinders. I would never use the stuff on my rc cars, but that's just me.
