"It is completely illegal for any store or any person to tack on the 3% for CC purchases. Anyone caught doing this will have their PayPal account/CC processing taken away. CC companies take it very seriously, because it hurts them when people charge more for CC than for cash."

Your exactly right tiny.. Welcome to the USA. The first chance they get to steal, they will..... They figure that most people won't say anything about an extra 2 or 3 bucks, but times that by one million sales, now that's a number.....

Well this is the first time I've seen people ask us to RAISE our prices...

The whole intent was to give people more options for payment more than anything else. If you did not want to pay the extra fee, you always had the option to mail in payment.

BTW, the charge is 2.9% + 30cents, so we were already absorbing some of the cost ourselves. However, we did not want to raise the price for *everyone* just because some people wanted to use paypal...

Mastercard/Visa payment options coming soon, we're working out some rather large plans for expansion

For those of you doing real price research on domestic (US) shops, most of you have already figured out that our prices and service are pretty decent...we try to offer the best of both as much as possible.
While raising our prices to placate the "outraged masses" of tinyrc forumites may occur, be assured that we will still strive to give low prices and great service as much as we are able, and thanks for the many many emails of heads-up and support from our great customers!

Looks like we got a benidict arnold amomgst us too...how do you think junkspot found out what's been said here. Notice how he's registered in "October". This means he didn't have a previous account.

Wow he sounds pissed.

? I'm not pissed...just wanted to settle some facts straight instead of reading the incorrect suppositions that were mounting up.

I'm just curious why you would think that people informing us of discussions about our store would be considered Benedict Arnolds?

Actually I received a number of emails regarding this discussion, I just did not think to get involved until I was reading posts saying that I was making money off the fee and trying to steal.

Are you against letting slandered people know that they are being slandered so that they can speak up for themselves?

Anyways, you are all correct, I had to sit there and crawl though paypal's website to find that clause, and we are indeed out of compliance. We'll be fixing that shortly, so thank you for informing us

Deadite, I never said that you did.

Let's just end it as such then...some people don't like the 3% to use paypal and it's apparantly against paypal rules, so The Junky Spot will make relative changes to fit into compliance.

All I was stating here was that we were not charging the 3% in an attempt to rip anyone off, simply as a way to offer the most individual options for each consumer on how to pay...without adversely affecting other consumers.

I just wish people would actually want to *talk* to us about it if they felt that we were being unfair for whatever reason.

I just got my Z too. I am having a problem with it going backwards. It stutters constantly. The only way around it is if I press the turbo button. I have tried different motors and the 4 way controller. Same issue and very consistent.

Anyone have any ideas? Are there known problems with the booster chassis?

Yeah it seem that the Z suffers from reception issues and I am totall afraid to try the antenna extension mod, in fear of damaging my perfectly good steering. as for the crp crap. I have not opend it up yet...but a note: My friend opened his Auto Mod booster remote (Just lke the Z) and that DID NOT HAVE The MOD....so im wondering of the Z does....

But realy the stuturing happens when no boost is used and I go over 5-7 feet....then I boost and she runs fine.....Im sot sure If this is OK with me...as If i get in a race and i have to let off the boost it my cuase me to sttuter and loos a race....hmmmmmmm

I'm using the 4-channel boost controller with the Z, and it works just fine. I've done the antenna mod on the controller and I get about 10-12 feet w/o stuttering.

Yeah, I don't want to modify the Z's board at all, since really strange and has perfect steering.

Update on the Auto Modelista Booster Button on Controller (Very Similar to the Nissan Z):

This booster button is unfortunately partially covered by the "by" in "Photo by rl0725", but you can some how make it out:

Here is a picture of their new box look:
