new truck

ok just finished my 2nd truck,a unimog...took about 30hrs to make in total from scratch.
uses 145mah li-poly cell,40mhz jst reciever,micro servo,7mm pager motor and my homemade gearbox again,reduction 1:190
again the chassis is just plain flat brass plate,no tubing.
servo, reciever and batery is in rear, speedo in cab and motor slung under chassis,

Fastboy

Where do you get your gears and Li-poly batteries in the UK? I am struggling to fit 1/3 AAAs in my design and could really do with something smaller.
I like the action shots of the Landrover, nice course, am I right in thinking that the wheel articulation is all achieved at the front axle? This may be the way I end up going too, there's not a lot of room at the back for everything.
Do you have the name of the modelshop that you got the model from?

Thanks

Landy Man.

landy
i get all my parts from peter in germany(2 days shipping at about £2 postage!! excellant.)

i dont use normal cells i use li-poly cells, you only need 1 cell at 145mah,very small and thin, gives you more room to work in.
in my landrover i actuall had enough room in the back to get another reciever in if i wanted

email me and i will give you a list of parts i used from germany
