Planning Micro Monster Project

Hi

I want to do a Micro Monster - I really like them!!

Last year I did a full size trial truck with hafner/bruder (http://www.2rad.cc/tt) parts so this time I want to do more engineering

and getting smaller. I will try to describe my Idea and hope I get your comments.

1) use mini juggernaut wheels and body

2) I want to Cut a frame from a board of Carbonfibre from the hobby shop.

like
________
|__ __|
\__/

make two of them and connect them with middle parts

3) use mini-x axles converted to none independent suspension.

4) use Micro RS4 parts (http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/images...8_mh214a-b.jpg)
and convert them to kardan drive shafts.

so what'S your opinion???

Will the Mini-x stuff have enough ground clearance with the jug whells?

and so on....

BR
Daniel

I have no clue about your other stuff
I was just looking around because this TTTT is interesting stuff

I did have a question about your tamia hummer though
is it this one
http://www.toyexchange.addr.com/tamcars34.html

if so what do you think of it how fast would you say it goes onroad/offroad
how good is it offroad on bumpy dirt and rocks and stuff
also would you pay $200 Canadian for one brand new from a hobby shop

I hope you can answer

Wanted to send you an email - hm but you didn't specify any - so now in the forum.

* the Hummer is more a Speed Trial thing - no real crawler like my Bruder Truck.
* big fun did you see the Loop Movie? - It could do it twice not like on the movie but never when the Camera was on
* Nice car to take with you on Vacation or on Barbecue that's what I use it for.

* go for it if you like hummers

* Nevertheless due to Ball Differntial you can almost lock the rear diff

* with decent tires it does surprising good on a parking lot - nevertheless due to the high weight (heavy body) it will roll over in fast corners

CONCLUSIO:

I had big fun and that car got me back into RC

Hi

Yes and no - for rock climbing go for a MonsterTruck TXT1 or build a Trial Truck. (more expensive)

For having fun with a nice scale looking car go for the Humvee.

If you are racer in mind you will buy an other car soon - I know what iam talking about.

And I think you can build lot's of nice custom stuff for the Humvee.
