Good call. I painted the Lancer Evo body from the 2F2F kit that color--it looks pretty nice IMHO. Here's what it looks like:

Thanks.
No, I didn't use primer.
I used some ordinary masking tape for the windows. I placed a large strip over each window, pressed it on firmly, then trimmed it with an Exacto knife.
I used roughly 6-7 coats of paint, I can't remember off-hand. I had to paint the car in sections (top, left, right, front, back) to get it to cover evenly and cover up the ugly designs on the original car.

Yeah, well we all learn from our mistakes. I should listened to everyone here, but instead I found out the hard way. From behind the scenes, I found out just how stict the other site was. I didn't like how they did things, so I denounced my moderatorship and left.
This is where I started my micro RC career and it is my home.

This is where I started as well, then found the other. I never joined either for a long time. Just staying back in the shadows keeping a low profile.

ok, to take the fin off you take a flat head and turn the car upside down and if you look youll see were the fin goes in and you see little little pegs that keeps it on. you push up litle by little on them until the fin pops up and then to put a new one on you will prolly havee to dremel some new holes out.
oh and my aim is fit_trls_ridr
my msn messenger is also the same
good luck!

ridealot100,
I like the light transplant. I thought the savanah body was butt ugly (like all the rx7's). So I did an old body transplant on mine. It is to low to do the light transplant. Paint job soon to come!

Putting a diagonal color change with a fade to another color (3 colors total).
