can i use mini-z wheels for mini-x?

i'm a noob in rc. i own a mini-z, and am currently interested with mini-x. i was just wondering, can mini-z wheels be used for mini-x? cos from what i saw, the mini-x wheels are just a bit boring, so to speak...
