I imagine that the wheels would flop back and forth on the pin, causing erratic handling. Just do the spacers the first time, it'll save you having to take it apart again to put them on.

yea, it makes a difference.

using the front pullback wheels on the front of your bit without spacers would cause it to rub on the chassis. it would do this because you could push the pin in so far (so you don't get that "flop" Murcielago is talking about) that it would cause the rims to rub on the steering arm and then the tires would rub on the chassis.

if you use the rear pullback wheels for the front, you can just keep the spacers on the rear pullback wheels as they come and slap them on the front of your car and then all you need to do is trim down the front wheel wells of a body just a bit.

I think i will be putting the front pullback wheels on the front, but maybe i will do the fullsize wheel mod. I'm not sure now.
So if im putting the front wheels on the front, i have to find a spacer around 2mm thick right?

yea eman, I'm not sure of the exact size, but yea that sounds about right.
just enough so when you put on the wheels, they don't rub against the chassis or steering arm.

hmm, sorry about not bein around to help out, had to go to work last nite...

well i snapped some pix yesterday, they're not that great, but they'll give you an idea of what's going on. when i get home, i'll post them.

you can use the rear wheel spacer, as well as the spacer from the rear wheel on the bit char-g axle. they're different colors and different sizes, but they can be sanded to the same thickness.

murcie and cabo are correct on every count. do it right the first time, so you dont have to go back and risk busting the knucke open. it's all about the patience

hmm. so you mean the spacer from the right rear pullback wheel, and the spacer from the right rear bit char-g wheel?

The one you mentioned there..

And im having some problems getting my rear rims off my bit char-g axel. I used CA glue (same thing as superglue) to glue my rims back on a while ago, and now i can twist them fairly easily, but i can not pull them off.
My pullback should be arriving on monday.

edit*, update. I got the right side wheel off, and the gear is loose on the axle. The wheel that was next to the gear is pretty loose on the axle, but i cannot pull it off. Holding the axle with pliers, and twisting and pulling the wheel is not working.

im going to try putting two screwdrivers on opposite sides of the knuckles and slowly pushing up, i read that somewhere. Will this mutilate the wheel or knuckle?

It seems to be hurting the knuckle a litle but not too badly.
