airsoft guns are sweet! I don't have any right now though...I almost bought one at an army/navy store. They had an airsoft sniper rifle (with scope and everything) on sale for like 50 bucks! I was soooo tempted to buy it but didn't have the money at the time. If you can save up enough get the gas powered (or even maybe the electric)! Otherwise you'll have to deal with ****ing a spring for every shot.

I'd love to have this one in gas/electric powered:

This one would be cool:

.....now if I could afford'em...these!!!!

A couple of recommendations for you. I personally wouldn't mess with anything an AEG type (electric). They should be the most precise since you don't have to worry about the fluctuations involved with gas and just less trouble in general to run IMO.

I would also stick with the Marui brand of guns. The better guns start with their electric motors anyways, why not get the whole thing from them. I actually have the Marui version of this MP% and have bumped it up to shoot around 350fps. I love it.

Some better sights to check into are www.precisionairsoft.com and www.extremeairsoft.com.

id rather have a paintball gun than an airsoft gun but thats just me i guess. with paintball, you can go somewhere and play against people. with a BB gun, you can shoot targets unless you wanna be set 500 yards apart from another guy and try to shoot each others eye out. i think i tried that once.....but with a paintball gun. i didnt get hit, but as for my friend Dylan.....well, thats a different story.

Actually Skylinez, there are big groups of folks that bet together and play airsoft. The only difference is that people that you play with are on the honor system rather than have a paint ball mark to denote when they are hit. As a matter of fact, airsoft rifles and pistols lend themselves to be more realistic than paintball does. Since they are more realistic, the groups that get together can more easily and closely simulate combat or police tachtical situations.
