Question for Tiny RC

Hi

I plan to buy a Mini-X Car Kit from you with other stuff that I need in a few days and I want to know if a special charger is needed for the 5 cell that come with the kit. I have the Rayovac 1 hr charger for the AAA of my Mini-Z. Could I use it to charge the batteries for the Mini-X?

I'm a Mini-Z fanatic, so I have a few Perflex Tx. Could I use it with the Mini-X so I don't have to buy a new Tx?

Thank you for your help

Diego

I'm not Tiny but I can answer your questions.

The 5 cell pack is a made up pack so a regular AAA battery charger will not work unless you modify it.

You can use the Perfex transmitter but it is not 100% compatible with the mini-x speed control. At full throttle on the transmitter the mini-x speed control will cut off. The simple solution is to install a stop behind the throttle trigger to prevent it from traveling too far.
