You know, I was wondering where he was too.
I sent him an email a couple weeks back.....and I still haven't heard anything. He must be really busy.

i agree with Squeegee, Arch's work on his OL are fantastic!
as for duplicating the 4x4 chassis... what makes it hard to mass produce is the front axle , even at 1/35 scale, they are very small and prone to damage if not carefully handled during the process of building it... and requires more time to build than the whole chassis itself.

Just a quick question....
Is the MAN 3.5T availble from roco or is it just a cut down version of the 5T? It looks to be about the size of a Unimog......I really like them.

Hi squeegee,
He just cut the 5tonner.
During the building of this car he saw, the lot of empty space in the car.
So he just cut the unused space and get the 3.5 toner ;-)
best regards
Thorsten

Skweejee,
The second one you link, the "nano" from Tower is the same case size that most of us have been using. It should work fine.

What is the largest servo you can fit into a Roco MAN 5ton? I mean like dimensions.. Also, do I use a micro, mini, or what type of servo?

Follow the link from squeegee above to tower hobbies. The servo he lists is the typical dimensions. That servo CASE is used by GWS, Tower Hobbies, Graupner, Cirrus, and about four other companies I have seen. As far as I know, those little servos are all made in the same Chineese sweat shop and then they put different brand stickers on them.
More specifics about what brand can be found earlier in this thread. The one listed above will work fine. Anything bigger than that will not be easy to use in a Rocco MAN 5ton. If you can find smaller ones, then use them.
