a pickup is basically a "mini microphone " that picks up the string vibrations. my pickups are solid black and can be seen in the middle of the guitar body

ya i did that to my hand once, my desks such a mess, the fully heated soldering iron was almost camoflauged. i put my hands on the desks to push myself up and stand up, and guess what my left hand was on?

hahah ya'll , i have a stainless steel soldering table
but the only problem is if i put an elbo and the iron's tip on the table i get shocked maybe it my alu powerstrip that sits on the table. anywho i haven got burned yet , but hell it's fireworks season and they do burn worse

lol the table i solder on is wood and has burn marks ive never heard of someone burning their foot, thats gotta hurt.
The only time i can think of is when i was soldering a wire that broke off a battery connector on my bit, i touched it while the solder was still hot. Also, motors, batteries, and capacitors get hot when soldered onto. I learned the hard way with all of em!!

I've burned myself MILLIONS of times b4 most only little ones on my hand, nothng serious, but i was once useing an industrial gluegun and squeezd the handle and it all got on my fingers, it hurt a lot and there was a massive burn, i also have had a massize pint glass of boiling water chucked on my legg and my trouser was steaming like hell, i had burns all up my leg and i still have the scars even though it happened two years ago
