Thor-bullet clone motor is great!
I got a bullet clone car (Thor) for Xmas, and it works ok, so I thought I'd try the motor in my black Z-car. Wow! is this thing stong or what!, It will easily do donuts on my desktop, and run across carpet! It acts like a GOOD 2.6!
The gears are also better than most of the Z-cars, they are very quiet and don't bind up at all! Great torque AND speed using Thor motor+pinion, Thor idler, and stock Z-car rear axle.
Wal mart had these clones, but got all sold out too soon, So if you see one, get it! you dont want to miss out on such a strong motor! The controller will also work with Z-cars, but Fwd/Rev is switched.

Good information. Thanks for the tips. I might get one just to use as parts, and to perhaps re-paint the bodies.
Hey! Your from Winnipeg. Just making an observation....did you get to A&B sound today for the great deals?

What part of the chassis broke (Thor or the Z-car)? and how high was the jump?
I would expect a Z-car to be more fragile (clear plastic chassis has less tolerance for flexing than the usual black plastic does).

it broke(z-car) right where the steering part meet the chassis...it was cracked before but then i jumped it about 2 feet onto a hard wood floor and it broke but like i said they are very good cars and look sweet with the clear chassis
