Winter Ice Tires
So I bought a foam tire package today for my Hummer, couldn't pass up the $3.97 price tag. Well, they do pretty much nothing for grip, except make it worse, so I thought I'd make some sick spike tires for getting around on the ice. This is an easy mod that requires little experience and time.
First turn the tire inside out and poke small nails, I think i used carpet tacks, through into the middle. You'll need atleast 8. Now, turn the tire back right-side out so that the nail heads are on the inside and the points are sticking out. Now slip the tire back over the wheel and trim down the nail ends so that the tire fits on your XMOD without knocking into the body (I used the drift wheels for this since theyre so little and cheap). Then take your truck out onto some harsh surfaces to test it out!

haha... thats cool... i actually was just messing with all the tires i had in my xmod box... and the foam tires arent too shabby on short carpet... they gripped a lot more than the rubber tires... but they are ugly... either way... still like your idea for them... good job...
