Controller Mod
 

I have my Z double celled and the controller is not too great for charging....is there a way to mod the controller so I can plug it into the wall (AC...) that would ge great. Thx

you can hook up a power jack on the controller to accept an adaptor. Kinda tricky as the controller is so tightly packed. What i've done is use a 4.5v adaptor and just use the raw wires instead of a connector. I slip them into the spring terminals on the top and bottom. I then squeeze in 2 aaa batts to hold them in.. You may find a neater way to do it.

go buy a battery holder from radioshack. it like holds 4 AA batteries and has 2 wires sticking out, blue and red. just take the charging platform from your controller and solder the two wires onto it and you have yourself a charger. but since it is just 2 wires with a box that holds batteries, it doesnt have a timer so you hafta take care in not burning out your car.

The LEDs in the controller don't work right with my 4.5v AC adapter. The charge light and the air light always turn on together. But it's cool because I don't need to buy batteries anymore.
