ZZ Rims..

I was thinking of picking up a pack of ZZ rims and tires. What modding is needed to fit these on a MS? I hope you guys can help, thanks.

Nothing. Just replace the steering knuckles. Now drilling, hammering, or soldering required.

Agreed.
I've even used the rears to make a ZZ wheelset.

Do u think anyone could give me some instructions on how to do this? Thanks.

You have 2 options:
1. Buy a Zip zap and then take off the body of the car and remove the front steering knuckes and front wheels, and swap the with the steering knuckes and front wheels on your Bit. You can remove the knuckles by either lifting them up and pulling them out, or by unscrewing the cover on the front of the car and then taking them out.

2. Buy the ZipZap gear kit, and the ZipZap Rim and Tire kit. Take two of the rear rims from this kit and separate the rims from the gear and the axle. Now take the 2 rims that were up against the gear (these rims will not have the nub on the inside) and drill a tiny hole from the rear to the front throught the center of the rim. Now take the steering knuckles from your Bit and using a small knife or screwdriver, pop the pin out that holds in the wheel. Now put those pins through the rims you just drilled holes in and the put them back into the steering knuckles. Now put on some of the ZipZap rims and tires on that wheel and you are set.

Hope that helps.

I almost forgot, when you replace the front rims with bigger ones, you will have to dremel out the front wheel wells in order for the car to turn properly. If you don't have a dremel you can either sand it down or maybe trim it down with a knife or file.

Ok thanks.

You don't have to take out the pins in the knuckles. You just do a direct knuckle switch.

Same w/back axle. All you need to do is make room by snipping your body or dremel
