most claim to be able to recharge up to 1000 times. the cheaper ones will claim 300
ive heard that any rechargable batteries will last about 5 years
1000 is very common for NiMH batteries. If you buy NiCd in the future, though they have their certain advantage as RC batteries, they don't last nearly as long (I THINK, i thought they last ~500 times) and must be fully drained before recharging. Rechargeable alkalines last shorter than NiCd, significantly less I believe around ~200 times I think, and don't have the same steady output under load.
I could be wrong though... |
thanks for the info. i appreciate it.

go get the rayovac ic3 batteries... they charge in 15 minutes and they last atleast an hour and a half and they are really strong.. i bought them and i like them.. they are expensive but worth it

4 AAA cost $13. the charger that charges four batteries comes with two AA. it cost $27. i got mine at walmart. they are defenitly worth it!!
so they charge in like 15 minutes and stay charged for about 1 1/2 hours? are they better then the xmod batteries?
YES!!!!!!:D sorry, but yes they are much better. rs sells them also but they are called radioshack i-c3. they are better then the xmod ones!
would you recommend the radioshack version or the rayovac?
It seems like Rayovac has built a good reputation among the small car crowd, and Sanyo built a good reputation among hobby RC racers in general.
they are the same batteries, but the rayovac logo looks cooler:D
