Alternative Antenna Location .. w/increased range!
 

Hey all,

Well.... I'm only posting this here because it seems most of you check this one of the forums.....

When modding my bit to add a new antenna to the board I fried the corner of the board... I pulled out the wrong soldering iron and it was toast.....

Anyway... after posting here about an alternative location and getting no reponse I just started soldering the antenna to various locations on the board.... after about an hour or so I found the right alternative location ... and it increased my range.. not sure if the range increast was due to the thicker wire or the new location.. but whatever... I can go 18 feet now...

I'm gonna be modifying another bit with crappy range and putting one antenna in my new location, and one in the alternative location to see if I get crazy range.... I just need to find some black wire before I can do it.... dual antennas :-)
