3.0 question
i have the auto modelista set and the 3.0 motor doesnt seem to want to work. i have to give it a little push to get it started or else it doesnt want to work could anyone help me out im a newbie.
|
I've found that if you play with the motor a little, moving it around so that the contact on the back is facing the front of the car, you get a lot better performance. Try it I hope this helps.

*whew* im glad Someone supports 3.0s... =)

Pie, are you a Weebl and Bob fan? I know I am!
|
weebl.... bob?! erm..
weebl.. that's one mother of a weird name..! who are these weebl and bob people?! |
You know my 3.5 has the same problems. I found that if you take a small canister of that electronic cleaner pressurized air stuff with the straw thingy?? if you barley press on it just enough to get some air moving to clean all the excess dirt and stuff off that some sticky gunk comes off and it works like a dream. Hope this helps

great!! that stuff... i dun really have any, but i figure, if i can blow through a straw hard enuf, the results will be the same :D
thx!! |

ive found that tomy motors work a lot better if you put a tiny drop of solder on the connector on the back of the motor.
|
ahah!!! hot damn! PIEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL!! ahhh that's great... that'll be my new web page... =) hmm i dun have a soldering thingy... would a little bunch of tin foil work? |
Hmmm... That soldering idea might just be crazy enough to work! I'll have to try it.
|
Should you put the solder only on the tab or can you put it on the colored cap too?
|
Only put it on the metal tab. It makes the contact bigger.
