***RCX 2010*** RCP Tracks West Coast Championship Race Info
 

Happy New Year to all.

RCP Tracks will be organizing the West Coast Championship Mini-z races at RCX again this year. Please mark your calendar for March 20th and 21st as this will be a two day event held in the main show room at the RCX RC Expo. RCX is held every year at the Pomona Fairplex in California and is one of the biggest RC trade and demo shows in the country. You can visit the RCX site for more details on the show. www.rcx.com

I will provide details on how to register to race and more information about the show via this thread, shortly.

We are currently still in the planning stages, so if you have any suggestions for the races, go ahead and add your input to this thread.

Have you ever raced in front of a large crowd? This is your chance. There will be well over 13,000 people attending RCX for the two day show. The track will be showcased in the Main building for all to witness your great skills.

RCX is in two weeks, so if your planning on competing, please use the links below for sign up information.

I will provide all drivers passes to enter the show for Saturday and Sunday of the show. If you are planning on coming down, but are not driving, let me know and I may have some extra passes.

We will have a huge 40' X 25' RCP Track set up for the racing both days. We are adding some unique additions to this years track. Both the 5 hour endurance race and Sundays heat racing will use the same track and layout.

Oh it's on!

I'll be hosting and organizing the 5 hour endurance race on Saturday! And yes, ANNOUNCING. For anyone that remembers, the commentary will be something between a soccer game and a gentleman's club!

For those that have never run an endurance race, it is ridiculous amounts of fun. The teamwork aspect is the most addictive part of the race! Nerve-wracking when you're driving (can't let your team down), and you're not behind the wheel (fumbling pit stops, trusting your teammates, etc). The race follows a randomized "script" including rain, safety cars, and maybe a few curveballs to pack the field back together. If you're worried about your equipment, trust me these little Mini-Z's can take it!

Sign up now, so we can be sure to have enough gear like the handout rain tires for you, and get ready to take home trophies for class and overall wins!
