This is what I use ,.... squadron putty white .
|
Im guessing i can get this at almost any Local hobby shop?
|
Any decent hobby shop should have it . If not search for it
online . |
I use
Squadron Putty Green
Is there any difference? Should I buy the white? Green is sort of pasty (like a sticky toothpaste) not really... moldable like play-doh (which I thought it would be like....) -ben |
and it smells really bad

i used testors..dont use it...it sucks, im never using it again! lol...time to find me some of this super duper tamya putty! (i like tamya's aircraft and military vehical kits, they are VERY detailed......)....

GO TAMIYA!!!
Yeah Tamiya rules above all things!! I have a 1/24 Skyline kit I'm building, and it's the most beautiful little thing I've ever touched :D I'm afraid I won't make it into something very beautiful though :( I've never used putty, but if it's from Tamiya I think it can't be bad.

Yea tamiya putty works very well, from what I have heard.

I am not sure of the name but fast steel or quick steel its at checker and you cut off however much you want then you knead it until it feels warm and it is very easy to shape int a general form and just let it set for about 30 min and you can begin sanding and whatever you wanted to do to it, this stuff becomes very hard but works really well because you can mold it easily its about 5 bucks for a tube try it out and see if you like it
