Hmm...Id make sure the antennea on the chassis was on correcty. Also make sure it is screwed in tight.

my car was screwing up cause i put grease on the gears and then the grease collected dirt and stuff and my car would stop and start and stop and start over and over when i finally figured out what was going on it took me forever to clean all the gears so yah don't do that

Have you tried replacing the transmitter battery (9V one)? It sounds alot like the transmitter range has dropped.

i have this problem too. its on my Supra that i got last night. after my 5 skylines i decided i needed a supra but now this thing does it too. guess this'll be my inside car. its winter and it wont run outside. so it'll work for now. you could also try searching.

Try removing your crystal from the car body and then putting it back in, making sure it is snug. If this does not help you may have fried your receiver by touching the battery contacts the the heat sync. Good luck.

my stuttering on my car is opposite of urs. when i am 2 feet from the car it stutters, but if i step away it goes fine. y is this happening?

also try shimming the 9v in the controller with some folded up paper.. some 9vs are shorter than others...

maybe you are getting interferance from something? try a different crystal set if you can. or if indoors, shut off tv's, lamps with dimmer switches, or any wall mount dimmer switches.

viperkilla 11-17-2003 02:34 PM

Yea I'd have to agree with Se7en. I think that you are getting some interference. That happened to my zip zaps.
