i will post a light transfer from a savvanah to a camaro tonight when my bro gets his camera back from his friend. but in the mean time i got a pic of my skyline.

how do you do that

ridealot100 09-24-2003 04:00 PM

you carefully take a flathead and pry them out gently then glue them back into a different body. i used hot glue on this one. on my camaro im using plastic cement. you also need to dremmel out little holes for the lights to shine out of

racemini89 09-24-2003 04:29 PM

you forgot to menchen that you have to unscrew a screw in the pcb. nice job stealin my mod:p

I've talked about doing this mod when I received my Savanna SE, so technically, it was my idea. ;) I'm just kidding of course. I don't think you can say anyone is "stealing" once you have already done it, but just copying it. Isn't that what this whole hobby is about and why we "share" ideas here in this forum? To help each other out?

Naw, you didn't offend me at all. It takes a lot to do that. It's cool if you and him are friends, I thought you were jumping his case. It's all good!

I guess I stuck my nose in where it didn't belong. ;)

wouldn't the plastic cement eat through your body if u use too much?

ajpal87 01-14-2004 04:20 PM

you dont have to cut holes in the body for the lights to shine through. On both of the camaros i did i just scraped the paint away from the headlight area with an exacto knife, then a little clear coat and it looks great

Combat-Digi-Q 01-14-2004 07:31 PM

heh good job...sounds exactly like what i did to my jeep huh? Heh, I want to see a pic with the lights on

nitrousmaniac 01-16-2004 05:59 PM

SHIFT_DRIFT 01-16-2004 09:26 PM
