Chevy S10 Body Project

Well, I started working on an S10 body to replace my Skyline. It started out as a 1/25 '94 S10 dealer promo model I picked up on eBay. I had to shorten the bed by cutting off about a 1/2 inch or so from the front so that the wheel base fit a little better. It's still not where I'd like it to be but it's better.
I haven't gotten the body mounts secure. Anybody have any suggestions?
I'm going to paint the body Tamiya Metallic Blue and black out the windows before I put them back in. I've got a tonneau cover made from a section of a DVD case ready to go on once I can get the body mounts attached.
Here are some pics... What do ya think?

Pretty much done!!!

Well, after a few beers and some time for the paint to dry I have an XMOD Chevy S10. Here is a link to some pics. Tell me what you think? http://home.comcast.net/~jrkimmel/XMODS/S10stg1.htm

I might add some graphics (My buddy owns a sign shop). Think I should or stick with the solid color?
I fabbed the tonneau cover out of a DVD case. The side windows are made from some scrape clear plastic from one of the XMOD add ons. I had to cut the front bumper to fit the front mount. The rear mount is attached to the tonneau cover. It's pretty solid, but I think it could be attached a little better. I even got the light kit hooked up. I'm pretty impressed, since I don't remember even putting a model together before. I had to chop the bed for the wheelbase to fit and a few other parts needed some trimming. These things are pretty addictive.

I've got two other 1/25 S10's waiting to be chopped apart. It's probably a good thing I only work on the weekends. Leaves me plenty of time.

Thanks. All I pretty much do right now is paint jobs. I like it when I see some custom bodies like from models, etc. I really need get off my tail and do some myself.

Keep up the good work!
