Help! my wheel mod problem!
I took all the time to do full size wheel mod and took it for a test drive and the tires get stuck on the chassis when I turn. has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?

I did the mod on an LXX and had the same problem. It don't think there can be anything done to fix it. I swapped the wheels and put them on a Z-car, which worked, but I broke a steering knuckle doing it and the LXX or clone knuckles are slightly longer.
Guess I'll be buying another Z-car for parts.

I've run into a similar problem like this..... except it happens to me when i put Hot-Wheels bodies on a bit...... i simply file down the corners of the fenders, but not too much to where you can see it very well.......... works for me, but Hot-Wheels bodies only cost $1..... im sure you wouldnt want to do this to your more expensive body, but you gotta do whatever it takes bro...... good luck

That looks like a Dremel tool fix to me. It would give it a cleaner look than melted plastic. Just a thought.

unless you are really good, dremels make your chassis look like something tried to messily devour it.
thats alright though, its underneath the body, and you will have a working car.

just use a fine sanding disc
at low speed on the dremel
go easy and just take it down
a little at a time
works good

How do you get the pins (axles) out of the steering knuckle.

very carefully
i tap them out
gently with a small nail
i drilled a 1/4" whole in a scrap
of plywood
and center the knuckle
over it so the axel falls
through
go easy so you don't
crack it
