Unhappy Prb with 3.0 engine

Hi,

I have recently bought a genuine Tomy Bit Char-G (Subaru Impreza) and a Bit Racer 3.0 engine ("Lucifer rotor"). The orginal engine (white) is very slow, and when I try to use the 3.0 engine instead, the car does not even move (although the engine does work when not connected to any spur). I used the black pinion on the engine, and the gear set for the car is orange (standard). It's the second 3.0 engine I try.

Does anybody know what to do?

Does the car requires a new gear to use that engine?

I also purchased two other OEM cars: a Thunderbolt Bensu and a Leyu, and the engines are a lot faster and powerful than the Tomy car. I now use the OEM engine on the Bit Char-G, and the car is very fast.

Thanks,
Tom
