Some Shots of my Skyline......

Here's a few pics of my Somewhat modded skyline. I painted the Skyline body red with black tail light and hood for carbon fiber effect. I also Added a CAT 5 to the PCB. The knuckles and the strut bar (from a ZZ hop up set) were DYED red using RIT clothing dye. Any comments are appreciated! Thanks!

If you hadn't noticed my bit is sportin' a red/black colo scheme. I've even redone all the PCB wires to red and black (because the stock wires broke )

Funky. I dig the dyed suspension. I was randomly coloring the front suspension on a cheap clone blue with a marker, but it quickly rubbed off.

thanks for the comments the rear wheels are from ZZ's. I used a ZZ axle in the back, i'm going to have a full set of ZZ rims when i find a drill bit small enough for the axle pin hole.

You can just swap the steering knuckes. Ther will be a little bit of extra slop in the suspension, but if you swap the sway bar it's fine. You can also swap the wheels on the knuckles, by warming the pin with a soldering iron, I used a 15 watt one, just long enough to soften the plastic, but not so long that you melt it. Then the pins pull out fairly easy, and go back in snug too.

I don't see why you'd need a drill unless your planning to drill out the rear wheel to use on the front, in which case a drill would be overkil, and you'll just have problems. All you need is a drill bit, and somekind of homemade handle to attach it to, to make a hand drill. That way you have control over what your doing

Yeah thanks for the tip. I don't have a ZZ right now, and i already have 6 ZZ axles i got from the tune up kits. I figure i just make a hole through the ZZ axle wheels and put them up front. The Knuckles i use are from a clone and the pins were not knarled so i can take them off fairly easily.

Nice idea with the staples. I'm going to have to try that. Nice looking Skyline btw.
