putting pullback tires on bit char-g
I know there are posts about this, and i searched for them but couldnt find any .
I think i just have to pull off my old wheels, cut off a little of the axle, and put on the new wheels and glue them but i dont want to mess up.
Can someone point me towards a post or website that tells me how to do this?
Thank you

basically it's the same thing as a fullsize wheelmod and a smallsize at the same time.
1. twist the rear wheels off of the pullback. just twist, they'll come off
2. cut up the pullback knuckles so you can take out the front wheels with the pin undamaged
3. mount the wheels on a BCG axle, with the correct spacing
4. pull the front wheels out of the bit char-g knuckles, and put the pullback wheels in. you will need to make spacers to put between the wheels and knuckle.
5. put everything back together and you're done.

Sa-weet!!! I think I'm gonna do this on my next day off. What did you use for spacers?

skyline, you know i dont hold grudges. it's all good ^___^
murcie, on the rear wheels, they have these little spacer-ish thingies. a lot like the spacer on the non-drive wheel of bit axles.
basically, you gotta chop one of those off the pullback wheel to fit it flush against the gear. use that as a spacer, so dont maul it when you cut it off
you could also use the spacer that comes on the rear wheel of the bit axle as mentioned above.
if you've done wheelmods before, this is a breeze, but if not, take your time and think verrry carefully when doing it. i fixed one up for a friend last night, and it went tons smoother than the car you see here .
*note: the front wheel wells must be shaved out a bit on the inside to let the wider rims turn freely.

I don't think spinners would work too well. The only reason why they work as well as they do on real cars is because they're so heavy and they're mounted on ball bearings. You could theoretically have ball bearings that small, but it'd be really expensive to make, plus maintaining them would be a real pain. I've heard of real ones getting gummed up with road salt, dirt, ice, you name it. Just imagine how much dirt your bit picks up. Now think about having that dirt in your expensive spintek knockoffs

good point. but it would still look hella tight on a dead MS or BCG if it was just 4 show and not 4 go. you know, like a model car.

Yeah, I think that would be pretty cool. But I won't be the one to do it

Back on topic, Pie, I hope you realize there's gonna be a lot more bits with pullback wheels on them now

yeah, me either. but the problem with putting them on a dead car would be avoiding the point. you want them to spin while driving, but on a dead chassis, they cant do that very easily. you'd have to make, like, a FrankenMicroSizer or a FrankenBitchar-G, and that would just be retarded, cause youd have to spend the rest of your life in a little hole 10000 feet below the surface of the earth because people would come looking to kill you for creating a monster. they should have a thing like monster garage for BCG's and MS's and call it "Monster Micro"

IMO pullback wheels are nice, they help reduce the flip action of high rpm motors, and they make tighter turns.....very sticky....
