By tech racers I mean track racing, cornering and what not. I found my precious clone at hobbytown usa. Most clones I've come in contact with have sucked and became parts cars quick. The precious, shen and the panthers have been pretty good.

takumi_drifto..... how can you compare a stock car to a car with a 3.8 motor in it. of course the 3.8 is going to be faster. was your shen faster with the stock motor???

Mostly range differences and interferance problems. I'd say stick with a 45mhz or a 35mhz.

i was at a place today and saw a bunch of thunderbolts and a bunch of precious. many of them had the shells off so i looked at the motors.. most were yellow, some were orange and some were blue. its hard to tell what they are. im not so sure they follow the same coloring standard that tomy follows.

I've purchased 6 different Precious clones.

Each one had a different colour/marking for the motor. (one was even marked 2.2)

They all run great. Unfortunatley the 2.2 car runs quite a bit slower than the rest.

I'd say they are a great bargain.
