Our fully modular track
Hiya all!
WeŽd like to present our fully modular BitChar-G track.
The facts:
Fully modular track concept consisting of:
- 28 elements (each 50x50cm) result in more than 15m track-length
- 11 styles of track elements
- 8 different radii of curves allow the most different combination of curves
- completely variing trackvariants (i.e. Highspeed-tracks, wild combination of curves) require an adjusted car setup
- different detailed scenes (hills, lake, forrest...)
- insertable pieces to modify road characteristics
- road width 20cm
Some impressions:
You can find more informations about the track (including making ofs), our cars and some modifications at our website:

WOW!!! That track is unbelievably nice. And a very nice website too.
How do you handle the edges of the pieces connecting? Is there a slight bump?
That is a sweet track. It must have taken you hours and hours to do. Very nice!!!!

Hiya all!
First of all thanks for the great responses! We really appreciate each compliment!
@rrvball:
All elements are completely flat and have the same height (1cm), so bumps are rare. You can hear it, when a car passes from one element to another, but you can hardly feel it. And even, if the connection between two elements is uneven, you can balance it, by placing a beer mat beneath the lower element.
And yes, it took hours and hours to do! And thereŽs still more to come! WeŽre currently working on two new elements, that should be finished this week.
Greetings from Germany!

Hiya!
@Jr08bll:
Actually, we donŽt have a starting line!
Well, we were inspired by Initial D., so we wanted to give the scenery a natural look and not a race track look. For races we use a virtual starting line , i.e. one certain element or the connection line between two elements.
@all:
Initial T. and I have been quite lazy during the past weeks, but the two new elements are almost complete. Our website should be updated within the next two weeks.
Greetings from Germany!

Wow! How did you make the tiny trees and shrubs? They really add a lot of realism.
