king 4.2 woot

i got my 4.2 and my 4.2 pro today and these motors scream.

i've only used them both in a single cell car and havent found which is faster yet. i've used stock and speed gears and the acceleration is like a turbo 4 banger, this turbo is putting out like 25 lbs of boost though, its slow off the start but it just cruises across the floor once it gets to top speed, my mom just washed the kitchen floor which is linoleum and i had this thing do about 3 barrel roles on a turn with stock tires

if you want it for a tourque moster not the right motor if you want crazy top speed this is the fastest motor i've seen

as i've been driving it a while the motor seems to get more acceleration

also i found that my shen goes alot faster off the line than my ms is this normal? i tried the king and that king pro and what ever motor was in the shen was faster than my ms

i'm begining to think that the ms/bits arnt all their cracked up to be

the only thing their good for is their turning and axles the motors have no tourque they have terrible range they go slower with the same motor, oh but they have nice bodys

I've had the same results with my 4.2 combo, exept I run it without the body (lighter) and without front wheels (doesnt flip over, less rolling resistance) and it also flys. I like the normal 4.2 king better than the pro, even tho I have a pro, because it seems to go faster and my perfection 3.5 motors endcap is exactly the same color (blue). Another thing I like about it is while using stock tires (all 4) and a 200mAH battery, when the battery started running down the wheels had enough dust on them and the motors was going only slightly slower it would do 3-4" drifts

overall it is great and anyone who doesn't have one has got to get one!!! I mean, a little over $4 for 2 motors +S&H you cant get a 2.2 for that!
