Soler powered charger

use one or two of them(in low light conditions) and just solder a charging base to it considering the low 40 mA and 3v it would only be fit for a single cell if you resist the 3v to about 1.5-2v

To get that to charge the car in 45 seconds, you'd need around 30 of these and bright sunlight.

to charge you have to look at voltage.. if your charging a 1.2v bat with 4 of those panels thats 12 volts(provided they are wired correctly) i think that the low mah output would affect the capicity of your charge.. everyone thinks that these thing need to be baking under the sun for them to work... if that was the case then they wouldnt be making them... they do work with partial sunlight. Sunlight is the key.. not a lightbulb. its a different brightness. anyway there was a post in here about the solar powered bit. and if you go to the site that the solar car is on it will give you more info on the output on these things.. i emailed the guy and he told me that the output was suprising and that they would even run on cloudy days.. just so long as it wasnt dark outside.. but lightbulbs arent the key.. natural sunlight...
