that counts holidays too!
I think im going to buy another body and do this old one orange. I had a crazy idea of molding an RSX kit onto the civic but it wont reach and I dont feel like bustin' out the bondo. Im going to head down to the hobby shop right now and see what they have in the way of tamiya paint and motors. Also doin the spin brush motor today.
as compared to that cat
It is fully kitted w/ spoiler now, blue stage2, stiff suspension in the rear soft in front w/ a 4.5degree tierod (handles like a demon). Also I have the tire upgrade and wheel upgrade. Hopefully I can pick up the lights today, all 4 RS i went to were out. Looks lke a full plate for me today Xmod wise.
Does anybody know how to remove the headlights/tailights w/ out breaking them!?
My civic is being done in Competition Orange as we speak. I am using Testor's rattle cans. I also purchased a can of clear coat that will go on after I put on some more coats. Bad thing is that the paint is a little runny. The first coat ran some but as soon as it dried it made the other coats stick nicely. The only thing that I have had problems with is that the paint pools on the bottom of the car...and i tried to smooth it out with my finger..stupid me. The paint was semi-dry and was like a paste, so I tried to apply the puttylike substance evenly. It is even in most parts except in 2 places where all the paint got rubbed off. I threw another coat on those places and they are the only troubled areas. I need more paint now. I am probably going to finish with around 6 coats of paints. Then clear coat. I am also doing my rims white which seems to have a much thicker consistency for some reason. They are coming along really nicely. The body kit that is going with the body is coming along pretty good too, except there is a few pooling problems with the mouth. But anyways more paint will solve all my problems.
