strakka, I really like gymkhana. for road racing, it's one of the best arenas to learn and develop skills, and I love the cars modified for gymkhana, like the Bozzspeed Evo VI for example. 2700lbs, 450hp and tuned to drift. Awesome. Some of the tricks they use to tune 4wd drive cars for drifting on asphalt are pretty cool too, like the wheel width trick. Sweet.
And thanks for the sympathy mpbiv. I'm kinda mad at myself too, for allowing crap like that to happen. When I used to have my Supra turbo, I did all the work on it myself, but now, I don't have the tools anymore and the covered garage to work on my cars myself, so I have to trust other people with my cars and get screwed over.
And as far as learning about cars and technical/mechanical stuff goes, notice how there really aren't many high schools these days that actually have 'shop' for a class? Back in the '70s it was a lot more common.

Pie- i already showed you that one time on our way to Hobby Wholesale. I was like "look! a 240 coupe that has s13 taillights, and you had the same reaction you had when you saw it with your friend you mentioned in the first page...those 240s are sweet!
