I'm new at micro RC's , but I'm 39 years, with two kids: (3) and (5).
You think it's tough explaining to your girlfriends about blowing $30.00 a pop on bit char-gs? Try explaining it to your wife of 15 years that you are spending $30.00 on toys when she is asking where I am going to take her on our anniversary.

Thanks strider_mt2k.  Ya know, I'm buying racer gears and electronic stuff for my bit even though I can't use it. I broke (actually, I brutally murdered) my contoller for my only bit. I'm gonna make the fastest car ever- I just can't make it move! Of course, eventually, I'll get another car with the same frequency.

DON'T TELL ! Works for me! When it arrives then I boast on how much I of a deal I got. She doesn't give me any grief at all. It's something me & my son share (10yrs). The bills get paid, we eat out every weekend after my son's game. What's there to complain about ????
I'll tell ya! Not enough time to race! Between internet surfing for Micro WP & modding there's very lil time to enjoy the fruits.
Keeps me out of trouble........

man, i have the same problem you guys have with your wives/fiancés/girlfriends, cept with my parents.... They got pissed cuz I've broken three of these things  , so they won't buy me no more

Don't get me wrong, Dark, my wife is a gem. I got my MicroSizer S2000 last night (after getting some greef from her) and she enjoy the look on the face of my kids when I ran the MS on our kitchen table. I've tried the "bargin" argument with this toy, but she has heard the argument used before by me on my other hobbies ((computers, electronics, '63 convertible volkswagen (full size), '68 Camaro RS (full size), tractor, corvette collection (diecast 1/18 scale, 15 of them), yada, yada, yada)).
Bills are getting paid, but my 401K sucks.
