Thanks Az.

Here is the direct links to their pictures:

Ford GT White

Ford GT Blue

And, IMO, they're just as butt-ugly as the Viper.

Too short but I might buy one because my SE is crappy. I would get a Blue one. Then get a White body!

just go the black viper that i ordered from the rs web site last week. body is still doesn't look like the real deal in person, but and this is a big but...

the chassis is noticeably faster than my mucscle car se's. did anyone else get one and can they confirm this? i need to do some more investigating (like swap motors), but if rs did make a change and it's not some fluke, this is a huge improvement. steering by the way is similar to the gto's i have. equal steps left and right and no stutter.

Well that is an interesting finding. Let us know what you come up with.

Only if RS comes out with a wheel kit that suits that Hummer body. The wheels are waaaaaay too small.

RS is dropping the ball big time with a lot of the new offerings we have seen so far. However....they get big props for the new corvette past and present kit. The '63 split window looks great from what I can see:

Hmmm... what's the deal with this ->

Is it larger than the old pit carrying case?

don't know if it's bigger, but the top section has moveable partitions so "compartments can be adjusted to fit different sized cars". (the upcoming monster trucks).

The thing is, the older pit carrying cases ( http://www.radioshack.com/search.asp?find=60-7510 )also have the moveable partitions. I'm wondering if maybe this case is a bit larger, hard to tell by the pictures 'tho.

Man, I always wish that RS would have carried a case that was about four times larger than the original LOL! -

the movable partitions on the older case were in the bottom or the top half? from the pics, it looks like the new case has them in the top (clear) half for sure, maybe in the bottom half too.

well i swapped motors and the viper chassis was still faster. i then compared the stock viper to an older se with the nos motor and the viper was still quicker off the line!. the viper chassis with the nos motor was crazy fast; hard to keep the car from flipping. i definitely think rs made some changes. of course this is on a sample of one. i'm gonna wait till the ford gt's show up and get another.

cross your fingers folks... if this pans out, this is a pretty significant improvement.

In both of my older pit cases (60-7510), they have the removeable partitions in both the upper and lower halves.

If this is true...I may just have to pick up a Ford GT.
