I just picked one up yesterday(350Z). I was pretty impressed. They are pretty fast straight out of the box.

I'm thinking the motor driven steering will allow for some oversize wheel mods. The little electromagnets in the bits and zips just didn't have enough power.

Anyway, thats just my $0.02.

I was driving my mini cooper today at work under the table saw in a small amount of saw dust(1/8" or so deep) and it was a blast.I have the mid range motor/gears in it.
I took the rear axle cover off and noticed the shaft was bent and was wondering if I had done that by running it a little to hard over some big drop offs, I'll have to check my other cars axle.

I know of two new bodies that are coming out soon. One is a Caddy Escalade EXT, and the other one is a Porsche 911 GT3. These should come out along with the R33 and WRX that will hopefully come out soon.

PS-I will be making a light kit for these using the strips coming out of the PCB cover. I don't when I will be able to do this though because of my busy life right now.

Soon, that is all I know. If you look on the website at the section that shows the racetrack, there is a yellow R33 racing. The GT3 and the Escalade are on the TRU website, and the WRX is in the instruction manual.

I like these things so much, I went out and bought some more. This one is my favorite. I stuck the 22,000 RPM motor and red gears in with the slick tires and this thing does some mad sliding....on my floor at least. If I let of the throttle and hit half way around the rear end comes flying around and the car stays on the ground. I am also planning some mods with the little strips on the PCB cover including head & tail lights plus some ground effects and underglo.

My favorite body so far...

the strips may be some sort of power upgrade or something. if you disconnect them will it run? or it may be some sort of antenna.

Has anyone done any steering or motor mods yet? What about bodies from other manus that would fit? I'm going to try fitting a 1:43 Hummer body to it, even though it would be like a low-rider Hummer...
