Possible solution to the Ugly Black Heatsink Problem!!!!!
I think I got the instructions wrong, the wire is supposed to hold the heatsink just in the solution, and you should probly use a copper strip to prevent having any electricity going DIRECTLY to the solution.
it should look like this, with the addition of a paperclip "fishing rod"
sorry I didn't think of this before

this is what the setup of the plating should look like, with the battery outside the solution, and a paperclip supporting the negative wire, so that it can hold the heatsink in the solution without the wire touching it.
A copper strip is used and connected to the positive end of the battery.

I think what it means is that the negative side of the battery is goin to the tab on the motor, and the positive is goin to the output axle of the motor, just on the rear side. Am I right dragula?

ok, so a battery pack or 9 volt battery.. outside the solution. with a wire going to the copper piece from the positive post on the battery....
and the wire from the negative goes to the heat sink. however you only want the piece of copper in the water and only the heat sink in the solution.. try to keep as much of the attachment points to these items outa the solution

As I said in previous posts, you should use a 4.5v battery or 4.5v battery pack.
