...also if I don't play with it for 6mths or whatever - no biggy. Can always pull it out of my pocket & have a run & satisfy that 'thing' that u get.
And for $20 u can't really go wrong!

I wanted to get into R/cing & couldn't afford anything over a $100 or so. When I found out about these I said hell ****in yeah! No this is NOT a fas in my area. If it is then the fad is almost dead. I got 2 of my friends into this & they like it now too. It never got big in San Jose (too bad, this town just kinda sucks, everythind STUPID gets big & nothing cool does)

Thanks be to Shaq

I used to love slot cars and RC cars, but haven't used either in a while. Then I saw Shaq on a Radio Shack ad on TV, and my life changed forever ;-). Not that I would ever by a ZipZap -- well, maybe just for show -- but until then I had no idea that micro RCs had made it so far. Luckily, since I couldn't get a ZipZap around Christmas time, that gave me time to find sites like this one on the internet. Now I am a proud owner of 1 Leyu Char-A, 1 Microsizer, 4 LXX Turbos, and 3 SmartLand Tanks. I've built one 8'x8' track for racing 3.8 motors (every weekend), and am planning to build a battle ground for the Tanks. These things are addictive!

whjen i first saw bits at a store in the mall, i thouught they were the coolest things, i told my neighbour about them and he loved it so that night we built a track and the next day we went back and bought them, all the other kids were drooling, now all my friends have and it makes me how they know nothjing about it, they look at it as a childish toy not a hobby, im like what motor u got in ther hes like i donno, im like what body is that hes duuuuh
it makes me sooo mad.

more a drug than fad

i spent almost $300 to trick out my mini-z, but none of my friends had em. i still have my grasshopper. then my friends told me to come over and play hockey with rc's ?!? i said how big is your rink?!? then i saw these micro rc's. i was amazed at the size and how fun it was to knock a puck into a goal. that was the beginning. next came racing. and then modifying. you could prolly make whatever car you want with some time and patience, both of which i have not enuff of. i tried a few simple mods. then started to do others, now i have too many projects. the best part of this "hobby" is the feeling you get when you finish a project. ive made a rig that hauls 2 bits, a few dual cells, a few tri cells, different bodies, light kits, body kits, i could go on and on...

and for about $10 a clone, or $20 for a MS, i can say i got my moneys worth.

so i say its not a fad. theres about 8 of my friends who are into this "hobby". im mean really into it. 2 of my friends have more than 20 bits of different brands. we all live within a 10 mile radius, so the battle is always on!!! bring it!!!!

i would have to agree with what most of the people say. this is not a fad. how could it be? fads only last a little while, and they all have some deal of mass advertisement. with these MS,ZZ, and BCG's, i have not seen one commercial, i have seen pictures of Shaq holdin thoes zz's but none of the MS's yet. . . and i dont think they will because they are a hobby, not a fad. hobbies dont give advertisements like some other things. all it really is, its just a hobby that people can easily get into without making huge commitments to spending hundreds of dollars for something they may not like, with a mini rc, they spend like 20 bucks and if they dont like it, then thats it.
