Ideas for modding Xmods.

the awd kit is mainly plastic, it adds very little weight to the car. the problems wiht the awd kit (mainly deformed front knuckles) can be solved by utilizing ONLY the front ball diff, driveshafts and dogbones, and NOT using any of the knuckles and swing arms (front and rear) that is included, as frozenphoenix said in a diff thread, it's exactly the same except for color and deformities. gonna try that tomorrow.

i think a 180motor will kill the electronics. anyone open it up yet and see what kind of speedo it has?

not sure if it will fit but a coreless motor will not kill any electronics..It pulls only what current is avail.

I know as it is (stage 2) the transistors get quite hot. Notice that metal plate on the bottom? It's a heat sink for 2 tiny transistors !

arent there lowriders that have like hydrolics? little model ones? if so could that be added to the xmod?
