1. various lincoln upgrades if you dont believe o well i know im right.
2. the viper driver was 20 years old and only had 3 years of driving experience with a crown victoria(he happened to pull into the same lot as us afterwards) Thank god he hadnt have tried he wouldve flown off of the road
the internet isnt the god of all knowing websites usually state the v6 version anyway which is the inexpensive kind. Lincoln offers various upgrades to improve the prefrormance of your car including a McLaren upgrade. And by the way im surprised u cared enough to look it up on the internet. Thanks i suppose for that.

Ford owns mazda henry making them own the rx-7

now im jes gonna end this conversation cause it doesnt atcually pertain to the subject of microrcs

u all can believe what you want but anyway my dad has done 40,000 dollars worth of upgrades(enough to buy another stock LS) It doesnt matter anymroe i know what i am talking about so thats all that matters end of discussion but i could be wrong too,

try doing a dual batt mod(with a 3.8) if you want your bit to get through 10 feet in that kind of time perhaps even about 4 batts. 1.8 is a small number im sure it has been done before. DKS is doing a dual batt for me because i have no idea how to solder and such. Ill report with a review once i find out, Ill even try the 10 feet time test hehe. The only thing i am afraid of is that my car will explode or something from the motor and the power. Thats y if you see my signature it says zip zap 1.6 not 3.8 lol....

You might think you know what you're talking about but none of us will believe you. I personally think you're making this all up. Prove us wrong. Post some drag slips, pics of car with mods, dyno slips, receipts, etc.

My Honda CBR600 does 0 - 60 in about 3 seconds but that because it's a motorcycle made for performance. I can say that because if you do a seach on the 'net, you will find data to back it up. I wonder why I haven't bought a bit motorcycle yet.

Well, to try to stay on subject, I gotta go with Tomy. My Microsizer has been great, and with the 2.6 motor, it moves pretty well. I also have a pair of Cannonball clones I picked up cheap ($23 shipped for the both of them), and they suck. One barely works, and the other doesn't work much better. Neither one works well enough for me to even use. But they have the seperate charging stations and 2.6 motors (where I got 2.6 for my MS), so I at least have some usable parts I can salvage out of them. But for me, I'm going to stick with Tomy unless I know a clone is a good one; like I would probably by an LXX, seems like everyone who has one likes it.

my lxx with 3.8 dual cell rules! yes i can't turn, but it flys when i drag race against any clones or zz's.

TemjinNeo78:

no offense or anything, i've drag raced for about 4 years now competively on and off the track. the only way a lincoln ls is going to get a 0-60 in 3.0 secs is to achieve somewhere in the range of 900+ RWHP. the weight of the car alone makes it damn near impossible. i've seen 700 HP drag cars that can barely pull out sub 2.0 to 60. i know for a fact that unless your dad dropped $200,000 into his LS. '69 camaro rs/ss 454 s/c 50 shot NOS. '97 BPU+++ TT Supra with 2JZ 100 Shot DPI neither is running a 3.0 to 60 on street tires, drags/slicks maybe. my street car is NOS'ed with a 100 shot and i'm barely running 13.0's. my drag car has dynoed at 714 RWHP

saleen mustang is available at Ford dealerships and yes, you can buy parts from the saleen catalog to turn it into a saleen. my room mate is president of the local saleen club in my town.

ford owns mazda, but has no hand in the RX-7. the probe was based off of the RX-7 because the imported technology and platform is superior to anything ford could have came up with. no offense again, but FORD is not the god send of automobiles.

i am gear head who knows cars, can you tell?

maybe you are thinking 0-60 FEET times??? than a 3.0 is completly possible considering the HP and weight of an LS (6 or 8)

someone got a fire extringuisher

well anyway we dont officially drag race, he races on the highway. While i rode with him the time came to a total of 3.45 seconds( a bit over) I asked him how did he get hte car soo fast and he said that Lincoln offered a ton of upgrades to make ur car faster. Im telling the truth have no drag slips or anywaything the car is a 2001 model so all reciepts are pratically gone. He said that half of the lincoln upgrades brought it up to 320 horsepower so erm.. and o yea whats with all of you flaming me? if you all can upgrade your cars to be fast why does it seem impossible for my dad to upgrade his? Am i asking for all the info on how ur cars are so fast? This subject is getting wayyy too deep for such a pointless cause. Im not really agitated or something but just back off wiht the flamethrowers

sorry, didn't mean to start throwing down and come off so abrasive. i'm not saying its impossible to make the LS (is it a 6 or 8?) run a 3.0 to 60. but given the available mods for it, it would take $100K to $150K worth of mods to get it to run that. if you were to say your dad's LS can run 6.0 to 60 and 1/4 at 14.0, i'd believe you because i can see that. short of making a custom turbo with custom tranny with a custom mounted i/c which would run roughly $20K for the parts, labor, and custom fabrication of the manifold, the LS wont push it past 5.4 to 60 and a low 13.

my car is fast because it was built to drag and nothing but drag. my street car is basically the same but with a softer suspension, more comfortable seats, and no turbo.

there rmust be something wrong with my stop watch o well.....thanks for all the info and stuff but please stop flaming me i was telling the sstats of my dads car and you all start jumping on top of me and burning me.

Anyway to the subject,

I would like to apologize for saying clones are bad and such. Becuase some arent as good as bits and some are. I am using the Motor Works clone charger to charge my dual cell when the mod is finished. I must addmit that the sizeo f the motor works charger is great, im impressed. I am going to buy of course more clones in the future for the great motors and spare parts. I was atcually a clone guy before i got bits and i was totally in love ith them....so why should i stop now..?
