About a year ago, I went into a japanese store looking to drink some strawberry milk boba, then there was a new section of the store selling mini RC cars.. and among them were the Tomy Bit Char-Gs. A week later I bought one.... then another one... then another one... then another one....

I'm too large to get into bits.
Seriously, I've been wanting a 1/10 scale gas powered monster truck, and I was just going back to Tower Hobbies' website to daydream, when I saw these tiny RC cars, and I then knew that my dream of an RC Hot Wheels had just become a reality. I wanted one sooo bad, but my wife had just got out of the hospital, and we were really tight on money. So it had to wait. I got a Zip zap for Christmas, and then I was off, and there's no stopping me now. Now just 2 months later, I have 6 cars, and 2 more in the mail, but really I think I'm done buying cars. Now I'm going to waste every free cent to build a nice track.
I've got a guitar project that is half done, I really need to finish it (just in case I die tomorrow), but I just keep buying cars.

I got addicted to BITS after I bought a couple zz's for my 8 year old nephew during the holidays. These little buggers are like crack ! I think I must have over 30 or so different zz's, bits, clones. Not counting the ones I butchered and sent to BIT Heaven. I keep some at work and some at home to mess around with. I also keep around some EPOCH Spec 1 and Spec 2 rides too. They're fun too, especially with the 4 cell mod. I'm 37, single, My girlfriend now thinks I have a childhood regression problem in addition to my marriage commitment problem. But who listens to women anyway.

I discovered these cars at Extreme Tech. Basically, they said get a microsizer, not a zip-zap. And I remember they said something about 1:6 gears. Does that exist?

This is how I got into micro rcs: Back in June, I went Pacific Mall in Toronto. I saw these little cars that were about 1/64 scale and said I have to get them. It took me one month to decide [I wasn't really thinking about it.] and got the '95 Toyota Supra. I can't find that one so I really have 7 cars. Now, 7 months later I have 6 micro rcs ranging from a Ferrari Enzo to a few Hondas and I have a track that's one quarter completed.

Believe it or not, I saw a popup about mini R/Cs. A friend told me about it and showed his bit char-g and I got instantly hooked! I bought a Skyline and managed to buy 10 more of them from the official distributor here in Manila to re-sell to my friends. Obviously, I was able to sell all of them! These things are great!!!

My friend got one in Irvine, CA when he went to a karate competition up there. He showed me it, and later I got a Fit Racer at the Miramar Airshow.
