.... u obiously have never ran a stage two with a higher tooth pinion, it heats up to 234f and that is hot enough to melt the yellow plastic motor mount, and if ur that worried get a GPM motor mount, its alloy which is very light, lighter that the stock plastic actully and displases heat well.

it'd be fine to paint it, but keep in mind that it will scrape and get damaged.

Yo i took my Project S.S and removed the top ( body of course). Then I took out the Motor, the gear thing, Electronic Package, and the Drive Shaft.
I am going to replace those with custom made ones:

1) Electronic Package ( Fet stacked, lithium Pro kit ready, Tight turns steering already installed, Motor wire upgrade, and a heat shrink on the antenna.)
2) Lithium Pro kit
3) Lithium charger
4) Motor ( Nuke 130 sm)
5) Carbon Fiber drive shaft

And that might be it until something newer come out.

But don't forget I will still keep you updated on my Project S.S
(Super Skyline).
