... You can probably get 1/32 and 1/24th scale pinion gears from parma to fit these motors and also a pinion puller as well. I have one and some old pinions from my old slot car days...These are standard brass pinion gears, with the motor color coding based on the size of the spur/pinion, (stage 1, 26k motors, stage 2, 30k motors, all with different pinions.)....

Still none anywhere near Richmond VA. They are saying this Friday maybe. The one I ordered shipped last Thursday, but I still haven't seen that one yet.

you would think that all stores would get them at the same time.

Why would you think that? All of the stores are not the same distance from the warehouses... and they might use different shippers (UPS, FedEx, Airborne, etc) to get there... all sorts of variables.

ok i stand corrected no one around my part of MD has them yet. i cant wait until they come in i have enough cash to buy an xmod and whatever they have for it and still last me until my next paycheck comes . last i heard from the shack closest to me was the manager said that she thinks they will be in soon cause she has a meeting on sat. and xmods r on the schedule. if you guys think itll be a good idea i could call her up and have her send this site to n e higher management that she can so that they can hear straight from the consumers like RadioShackSales does.

hey guys, to all those living in eastern mass, you shoudl be able to get them now or very very soon because i just picked mine up in the quincy radio shack, they only had 3 red supras adn 3 white supras, a bunch of motor kits, 2 suspension kits, 1 awd kit, 1 light kit, a few wheel and tire kit, 1 foam tire kit, a couple bearigns kit and 1 or 2 nimh kit. i picked up a red supra, suspension kit, bearings kit, and awd kit.
my awd kit was defective, the front passenger wheel was tight, i could only turn it with my fingers and whenever i hit the throttle, the front diff woudl transfer power to the driver side wheel. suspension travel with the new swing arms frnot adn rear suffered, i had to slightly sand and forcibly bend one of the legs on the driver side knuckle to even let it move. i'm definitately returning this or at least try to exchange it if they happened to have another one. i'm also returning my efini SE adn the initial D tuner kit, not worth my money IMO.
oh yeah, the supra, suspension, bearings, and awd cost me 97 bucks with tax

I can confirm that the RS on Rte1 in Saugus MA has'em instock. The only bodykit they have instock though is the RSX, so i bought the RSX along with every mod they had.......ended up spending roughly $180.00 for everything.
note and fair warning to anyone getting the 4wd kit...., it's a pain in the butt to get it together. Oh and before i forget bearings are also a pain.

awd
the awd kit was a pain to install, especially since they gave me a defective piece. The driver side knuckle was melted it looked like. the piece was shorter and fatter than it should have been, and the dampener (spring) did not move at all. I solved this problem by taking the knuckle that came with the car and putting it on instead. i recommend the awd kit though, because it made such a big difference. my supra used to spin out if i made a tight turn while only going like 1/2 to 3/4 speed. Now, i can be going full speed and make a sharp turn and not lose traction. Sometimes, it even drifts! which is really cool. and the baking is also majorly improved.
Just my say on the awd kit.
P.S. it really isnt that hard to install, it only took me like 30 mins, AND THAT WAS WITH THE SCREWED UP KNUCKLE.

side by side comparison of bone stock xmod vs. fully modded xmod (4wd, stage 2 red motor, suspension, tires, bearings, not fine tuned yet though)......= stock xmod wins the drag race, but loses around corners.
I'll have to do another test but i think the stage2 motor and 4wd kit takes a toll on the batteries much quicker than bone stock.
(i had to get two cuz the first one i bought i just threw on all the hop-up parts w/out running it stock and i wanted to see if there was going to be a big difference or not, i went out and bought the second one only a few hours later.....)

its reccomended that u use the stage one upgrade with the awd kit, because it produces more torque than the stage 2. the stage 2 has more power at higher rpms. but yea, the awd kit makes a huge difference
